Cinema is high art. The craft of acting is one of the most noble professions: the body as an instrument, the soul as raw material, in the service of a higher truth… Until that truth slips on a banana skin! Hihihi, sorry… I can just picture it. Film was meant to capture reality, but then someone thought: “What if we let that reality walk into a pie? Or smash it hard against a glass window – up to four times! Do it again, Charlie, the lens cap was still on the camera!” Hahaha hohoho... A real laugh-out-loud classic: high art, with extra-low falls. The camera’s rolling, Buster’s running, and sure enough; we all know what’s coming – oh no, not that ladder! HAHA, I can’t stop laughing. So switch off your brain for a moment, flex your laugh muscles and let yourself be carried away by films where timing is more important than logic.
